60 Days of Seattle Summer!
Rest of America! if you think Seattle is depressingly overcast/rain-soaked for 365 days a year! Guess what! With mild temperatures, cooler nights and humidity so low its barely noticeable, (No seriously! Seattle is drier than Phoenix in July), we have an outstanding summer that will blow yours. Picnics by lake side, paddle boarding, biking, fairs, music festivals, food trucks (yummmmm), Starbucks, bakeries at Pike Place, farmers market, the Blue Angels, hiking trails, Argosy cruise and Yukon river smoked salmon quintessentially define Seattle summers. Perfect time to soak up 12 months of Vitamin D.
Last Monday night while driving back home from my dance class, a weird realization struck. It was not as bright as it used to be at 8:30 pm and my son was wondering why I got home that late. Days are getting shorter and I cant believe its almost end of summer. But on the brighter side, I am totally gearing up for pumpkin patches and fall colors. From vibrant reds and oranges to brilliant golds and yellows, Seattle has plenty of fall foliage hot spots worthy of some oohs and ahhs.
To end my summer on a high-note, I have been stocking some warm- weather outfits that I can take into fall.
My love for ruffles continues as I added this Ruffle front J crew jumpsuit to my Haute palette. After a very long time I found such a well tailored jumpsuit. The silk top and lyocell pant gives the suit a flattering silhouette that lengthen your body. The polished ruffles imbue a soft feminine touch. This is my new secret to getting out of the door in minutes and yet looking pulled together.
Since it is still summer, I paired it with my new BCBGeneration Gaminkha Reptile pump in pink that added a pop of color to my dark navy outfit. PSST I got them on sale from DSW shoes. Combining superb versatility and style, this is the perfect heel height to easily transition you from work to play!
My cute Wildfox Malibu Sunglasses completely flatter my face and give me a mysterious movie-star look.
